Nossis

[Locri, c. 300 BC]

Epigram

“Nothing is sweeter than love: all other delights
come second; and even honey I spew from my mouth.”
So Nossis says. And one whom Aphrodite has not kissed
does not know – listen – what kind of flowers are her roses.
